@Only9built The french governments reasoning is that for people especially in rural areas, there is often little in the way of public transport other than trains. Honestly I worry more about some just plain bad drivers with a full licence than sans-permis.

@Only9built As usual the truth is a bit less interesting. I see a few around, mostly driven by people who never managed to pass their driving test or teenagers not old enough for a full licence. Yes a few may be driven by people who lost their full licence.

@realUNICARNS Can't say other than a wooden wheel and maybe the leather headlining, there is anything very unusual about that "extra's" list. Pretty standard for a late car. Also noticeable on close looking, all the centre console buttons are a bodged mess, they need properly refurbing.

@Retromania4ever Guessing by the SLK wheels it is indeed one of the SLK170 based replica kits. Given the price of original gullwings, I don't think that's such a bad thing, and using a 320 manual donor, not a bad drive either.
