Dan, you’re mixing market economics with conspiracy.
India doesn’t “subsidize world cricket” out of charity — India pays for what Indian fans watch. That’s not a subsidy, that’s demand. ICC sells rights because India is the biggest market, simple.
Also, India doesn’t “contribute $3B to ICC” — broadcasters do. BCCI isn’t writing ICC a cheque. Indian fans + advertisers generate that value.
And about the rest:
Jay Shah became ICC Chair through the ICC process, not because India “bought” it.
Umpires getting removed happens everywhere based on performance reviews.
DRS was opposed initially by multiple boards due to cost/standardization issues.
IPL window is protected because it’s the biggest league product in cricket — like EPL in football. That’s commercial reality, not corruption.
“Pakistan name erased” and “technical glitch” is weak evidence for a global rigging narrative.
If ICC revenue share feels unfair, debate that. But claiming India controls who plays, who officiates, who gets punished — without proof — is just coping.
Cricket follows the money because fans decide where the money goes.
And right now, the biggest fanbase is India.
For decades England “owned” cricket — MCC made the rules, controlled tours, decided who got Test status, and basically ran the sport like a private club. Even the ICC was headquartered in London and operated with an old boys network mindset.
Back then nobody called it “corruption”, they called it “tradition”.
Now India is the biggest market, so naturally the power shifted. That’s how every global sport works — money + audience = influence.
When England ruled, it was “the spirit of cricket”.
When India dominates commercially, suddenly it’s “bought power”.
Same game, different boss.

@deep82882@IndianGems_ His father took loan against property on their own home. And have that loan amount 10 lakh to his elder brother to get joint house in Delhi. Uncle got the appartment in his wife's name. Then later refused to acknowledge or pay back.
Also now uncle is dead.
