WSF is an international platform of progressive Shia Muslims. We believe in reconciliation with all sects and religions, and separation of state and religion.
The Saudi government has explicitly admitted that it creates, funds, and spreads Salafi groups at the request of its non-Muslim allies.
For example, the Cold War, lasted from the 1940s to the 1990s. During this period, the US and the communist Soviet Union struggled for influence over the Muslim world. The Saudi Arabian government has revealed that during this Cold War, the US requested that it spread anti-communist Salafi religiosity throughout Muslim countries to prevent Soviet influence.
During the 1980s, with the encouragement of the US, Saudis made special efforts to spread militant anti-communist Salafi regiosity in Afghanistan, to encourage the people there to rebel against Soviet forces in the country, and thereby weaken the Soviet Union.

This being that case, it can be said that for many decades the Saudi government has created Salafi groups used by its non-Muslim allies, like the US. The US, is, of course, under heavy influence from Israel. Hence, there is no a great deal of difference between creating Salafi groups for use by the US, and creating Salafi groups for use by Israel.
Thus, Qaeda/ISIS and the Madkhalis are both fake Salafi groups. They are run by intelligence agencies from two closely allied states: Saudi Arabia and Israel. They are used to help Israel achieve its regional goals.
NOTE: The Salafi movement itself is not a creation of Saudi Arabia. Many of its key ideas can be traced to various pre-1800 figures like Ibn Hanbal, Ibn Taymiyya, and Muhammad ibn Abd al-Wahhab. However, Salafism proper only emerged in the late twentieth century with scholars like al-Albani, Bin Baz, Ibn Uthaymin, and Muqbil bin Hadi al-Wadi'i. Salafism has attracted individuals across the world due to the piety of its members and the strength of their scholarly arguments.
Nevertheless, Saudi Arabia exerts far more influence over the Salafi movement than any other state. This is because it has officially adopted Salafism as its state religion. Additionally, it has used its vast oil wealth to create and fund thousands of Salafi religious organizations across the globe, including schools, mosques, media outlets, and charities. Saudi Arabia also runs the most influential Salafi religious universities (e.g., Madinah University, Umm al-Qura, Muhammad ibn Saud).
In his Chronicon, the historian Bar Hebraeus (d. 1286) opens his section on the Abbasid caliph al-Mutawakkil by calling him a “hater of Christians” who made them wear bands (pūqīrē) of wool (not sure what these are!) around their head. He writes that the caliph tore down new churches and made old churches (in part) into mosques.
That's not all: after mentioning that Mutawakkil had similar policies with Jews, BH adds that he also destroyed the tomb of Husayn the son of ʿAli [the third Imam, who died at Karbala']. Bar Hebraeus notes that Husayn born of the daughter of “their Prophet” (nabīyō dīlhon). Not only that, Mutawakkil “plowed and sowed crops on the site and said, ‘the site of the tomb should be completely blotted out.’”
It's ironic that the the site is so well visited today.
When V say this is #ShiaGenocide, every 2nd Pakistani condemns us, saying,"Kaho Pakistani Mary, not Shia." Thnx, PM, 4 accepting tht Shia genocide is reality. Also, 4 correct info ,Shia genocide in Balochistan is carried out by the LEJ, ISIS,& Sipah e Shaba, not by BLA,BRA or BNM.
New announcement from the Madkhalis.
The previous Madkhali position was that, according to Islam, anyone who verbally criticizes government policies for violating Islamic norms is a kharji deviant/apostate - and deserves death. lol
Now, they have taken matters a step further.
On their new view, Islam holds that anyone who verbally criticizes Madkhali religious scholars for violating Islamic norms is a kharji deviant/apostate - and deserves death.
From this perspective verbally, criticizing a Madkhali scholar is the same as "rebelling (making khuruj)" against him. Moreover, "rebelling (making khuruj)" against a scholar is the same as "rebelling (making khuruj)" against the government.
I guess this means no more criticizing Rabbi Faris, Shamsi, and Abu Khadeejah. That would be "rebelling" against them - an act worthy of death.
The old habit of #Takfiri#Deobandi is to blame #Shia for their internal rivalry and killings. Ther are the only armed group, while Shia Sufi Sunni Christians and others just receive the bullets.
Pak's capital Isb is echoing with hate slogans of 'Shia Kafir' by goons of banned outfit Sipah Sahaba, after a fatal attack on one of their leaders. Will @OfficialDGISPR geofence & arrests these strategic assets? How has @ECP_Pakistan allowed this radical grp to contest election?
@Dr_SayedAqeel@5Pillarsuk@DillyHussain88@RmSalih Mut'ah is a concept that appears in the Quran. Verse 24 of Surah 4 explains that a man and a woman can enter a temporary marriage-like relationship. The relationship must be agreed upon in advance, and the woman must receive financial compensation.
@Dr_SayedAqeel Forcing Shia to accept a Hanafi curriculum in Pakistan and Afghanistan is the very definition of #ShiaGenocide. You are killing the next generation by forced brain washing or forced conversion.
I vehemently condemn the brutal use of force against Baloch activists in the Baloch Unity March. The high-handed actions of the police, detaining 226 protesters, are utterly unacceptable. PM @anwaar_kakar and Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, both hailing from Balochistan, must act swiftly to halt this disgraceful treatment of Baloch protestors in Islamabad. It's imperative to safeguard the right to protest, release detainees, and address justice demands. I call on all political parties to unite against violence and stand in unwavering solidarity with the Baloch Unity March.
