History of the Second World War
Looking forward to being on Wesley Livesay's History of the Second World War podcast this week, when we will be chatting about the desperate German defence of the Rhine. Watch this space. @WorldWar2Pod
Always a good sign when the government...*checks notes*....wants more control over the information that is reported. Even unclassified information.
Obviously this had never in history resulted in any problems.

Pointless rebrands, once the territory of flagging companies, come for US Agencies now.
The millions that will be wasted just on stationary, signage, and documentation updates.
The Wehrmacht posters increase the Hitler content
The woke posters decrease it
Hitler content creates bans, which again moderates the reaction
But when the woke posters leave the website, Grok no longer receives the moderating input
We now have a runaway Hitler Grok
@SebastianBae I am assured by many of the people in charge that we earn for work.
But yeah, pretty rough to foresee how the vast majority of people will be able to have any kind of retirement.
Was browsing Steam for the Summer Sale and stumbled upon @GroundBranch by Blackfoot Studios. I remember when they first announced development in the mid 2000s when I was still playing a ton of the original Ghost Recon. Can't believe it is still in development!
New interview! I was joined by Jeff Rutherford to discuss The German-Soviet War, a new book from @CornellPress co-edited with Robert von Maier that digs into some areas of the German-Soviet war that get far less discussion than they deserve. #WW2#SWW

@Lionessinus It would not shock me at all if it was a staffing issue due to budgetary concerns after all the various budgetary changes over the last few months.
My interview with with @SilenceInPolish just released. Who was General Maczek? What was his journey through the war? How did the Poles organize an armored division in Britain? All these answers and many more!

On this day in 1935, the prototype for the Hawker Hurricane flew for the first time. The Hurricane was the first British monoplane fighter. See a Hawker Hurricane Mk. IIC at the Udvar-Hazy Center: https://t.co/NrCw8e5RX2 #AirSpacePhoto
Fun part of US election is people sending out social posts referencing State specific ballot measures like I know what they are talking about. The majority of people's social media followers do not live in the same state. I have no idea what Yes/No on your 1,3,5,A,B,etc. mean.
Did you know that The WFA offers grants to PhD students of up to £2,000?
