@KathAntonio7 I mean... not necessarily. The chef knife attack isn't the same as the 'Everybody's Grudge' attack. The knife is a 9999 or 'max damage' attack, grudge is based on either how many monsters you killed or toneberry' in some interations like FFX.
@ChristinaTasty I feel the major point in this scene is more that even if there are slight social adjustments, that doesn't mean that the world is somehow imploding.
However, there is also a point where the show does openly mock PC culture as well. Like the episode Bobby has to confront wokies.
Animation is notorious for cutting corners by just copying classic film scenes, it is one of the ways they can put out media faster without getting sued outright given they can claim these are just: 'references' or 'hommages' and scenes are under the amount needed for plagerism.

Even as a Kid, you could tell when a cartoon was animated in Japan. You'd watch something like Tiny Toons, & suddenly the animation quality would skyrocket. I see the stuff TMS did in the 80s &, it's so fluid it makes me wonder how it ended up being made in the first place.
In the Proud Family Louder and Prouder Season 4 , created by Bruce W. Smith , Thingy apparently went insane and cooks up a sneaker scheme to overthrow Shuggie the Panda Bear
