Former Gov. @MainePaulLePage tells @slaterradio: “What people don’t realize, Graham Platner is very wealthy... He is really not what he portrays himself to be."
"He’s only got one client... he supplies the oysters to his mother’s little restaurant."
“He’s an elitist who just has gone off the grid. That’s it. And it’s gonna catch up to him.”
Per sources: Graham Platner’s campaign is now aware of the severity of the next round of information that will come out. Worse than Nazi tattoo. Worse than Reddit. Worse than ‘Predator’s Paradise.’
The emergency trip home had nothing to do with reporters at the house his dad gave him. This is the DEFCON 1 of damage control.
I will continue to say this until you all mute me:
If there is a state left where candidate quality and character matter, it is Maine.
When more comes out, it will only help solidify Collin's reelection.
Graham Platner leads Susan Collins by 4 points in an internal...
Independent polls had him up 9 points before the sexting scandal.
Big drop in support.
If you think people don't care about character... you're wrong.
This is a reminder that there are real consequences to counting votes late. When citizens wake up, they expect they'll see some results that decently reflect the election outcome.
Seeing this — and then seeing Pan surge in the last 45% of the vote — destroys trust in elections.
Good news for Pratt.
I said yesterday both Hilton and Pratt (or any Republican for that matter) has to have a decent cushion in order to survive the "late mail ballot" onslaught we have in CA.
Both seem to have the numbers, but as always keep watching.
People are focusing on Raman making up ground from third place but right now, Pratt is only 4.4% behind Bass.
Pratt appears destined to get 40 some percent in the general at minimum, which makes the race something to watch and something to build on. His marketing plan would crush Democrats everywhere.
If the fraudulent mail/harvesting system were squashed, then even LA is on the cusp of being redeemed electorally.
This is why election reform remains the preeminent effort in politics today.
Nowaks death is inherently political because the police officers made the political decision to disbelieve that he had been stabbed because he's white and instead believe the sikh who said he had been racially abused because he was brown.
Political from top to bottom.
