@karola3vax@CounterStrike@github I fully agree with your statement. Since I'm fully aware of how much work you put in at this point, you are working basically for free, and you will eventually drop the project or go full private with contract deals where you become THE ANTICHEAT instead of the AC do its work.
@karola3vax@CounterStrike@github I think you have a very big issue with OSS and got consumed by the toxic community of CS server owners.
You do things at your own pace, not per their demand.
If you try to be nice and feel obligated to respond to everything ASAP, you will burn out, and you did.
@karola3vax@CounterStrike@github I didn't say to kill your paid version. Just turn back to the legacy and push periodic updates.
The guys at CSS and SW2 are strong towards the OSS idea and will slowly and surely eat you out with 10x better product at some point, while being completely free. Take it as advice.
@karola3vax@CounterStrike Now, since I have your attention.
Stop being a crybaby, and tell me how your project got stolen and you got reported, and the retards at @github did nothing. Turn back to the community and maintain the legacy version to a certain point instead of using it as bait.
@karola3vax simple question.
Do you really think you would get there without the community push you got just because this was released in the worst CS2/GO season of all time?
If influencers didn't used you for content to shit on @CounterStrike ?
@karola3vax I still stand on the "nobody cares" fact, getting a few small communities and a few literally unknown "platforms" with a combined player base of 150 doesn't really help you to fight it back. Also, I'm not criticizing the product, I'm criticizing you.
@karola3vax You can say what you want, the exact moment you fully turned this into a paid product (which I have nothing against), you lost it.
Let's not talk about the fact that you ignore the false positives and keep hot fixing them so they reoccur.
