It was our pleasure to present the findings of our recent work with Liverpool primary schools at Education, Employment and Skills Scrutiny Committee last night. @lpoolcouncil Thank you for having us and for your questions/comments.
In Liverpool, this gap is a concern as outcomes for key stage two writing attainment are in the lowest 10% nationally.

A report was presented to the Committee on 26th July 2022 in relation to the gender gap in children’s writing.
It was agreed a further report would be presented to the Committee summarising the overall findings.
