I'm a North Indian.

I have visited South India many times, and there is one thing I truly appreciate:

They are relatively more civilized than North Indians.

They don’t chew pan masala or spit on the roads. Their roads and footpaths are mostly clean.

In North India, you never know when the biker ahead will spit gutka right in the middle of the road — and it will land straight on your face.

They eat healthy food, not junk like North Indians do.

If you ask me about civic sense and quality of life, South Indians are far ahead:
