@TheBrochProject@MedMilMedicine I have not been to a Caithness broch yet but my visit to the Mousa one in Shetland when the storm petrels were roosting is one of the highlights of my life. I have some Hebridean ancestry and am proud of what my distant ancestors were building thousands of years ago.

@OSleisure I remember walking up the steep east slope of Cuilags from the loch in poor visibility but by the time I reached the Old Man of Hoy I got a lovely clear view of it
@London_W4 I have used them in multiple places in UK. Lack of laundrettes in many towns and cities (certainly compared to much of continental Western Europe) and many of the ones that are there are past their best. Very few hotels have self-service laundry either.
