A private girls school in Shewa, N. Waziristan was blown up by terrorists. The future of our children is under attack. Education scares terrorists. Taliban banned girls from getting an education in Afghanistan and their affiliates are attacking girls schools in our areas.

@KhalidAmiri01 Thank you @UniMelb@ArtsUnimelb@cajunimelb for this initiative and having exiled voices of young Afghan Leaders and Journalists like Khalid on board. I’m sure it would have helped the students a lot.
Taliban are struggling to deal with demonstrations in numerous parts of the country first in Badakshan and now in Nangarhar.
They need to address people’s concerns appropriately and act like a responsible government as they claim and not an irresponsible insurgency anymore. The Afghan people are suffocating under their rule and their civil liberties are taken away.
Addressing the concerns of the Afghan people and respecting civil liberties are important to gain legitimacy as a government.

Honored to be invited for a lecture on “Journalism in Afghanistan” by University of Melbourne’s Journalism Dept. Discussed how the recent turmoil changed the Afghan media landscape & Role of Media in the fall of Afghan Government. Loved the Q&A with students & post-lecture chats!

Delighted to watch a fantastic victory match by Afghanistan's National female football ⚽️ team in Melbourne today, alongside the Afghan Ambassador to Australia 🇦🇺. These courageous players were evacuated by the Australian Government following the Taliban's takeover. Their spirits were high but saddened & traumatized for their families left behind in #Afghanistan.
Bibi Zahra, a Pashtun woman & former intelligence officer was found dead in Lashkargah City, #Helmand province. Taliban abducted her from home, & after 2 days her dead body was discovered. We must condemn such acts of violence & demand justice. #PashtunWomen#PashtunLivesMatter
#Pashtun women brutally beaten & tortured by Taliban. Their sufferings remain unseen, unheard & ignored. Due to the Lack of smartphones/social media in their communities, documenting these war crimes is a challenge. It's crucial to highlight the atrocities inflicted upon the Pashtun people as well. #PashtunLivesMatter #PashtunsRejectTaliban
@KhalidAmiri01@VirginAustralia If this happened to you, i fear they will dodge us the same in future, i’m never going to book a flight in @VirginAustralia in my whole life, Thanks for exposing them Khalid!
