He's explaining to Nicodemus the difference between being born of the flesh (from your mother's water, or womb), vs being born of the spirit, which is putting your full faith in Christ. Your spirit has to be reborn in Him to enter His kingdom.

@TuckerCarlson Most if what the priests think they know about Demons, Angels and the "Fallen", is completely wrong. A combination of man made theological traditions (not unlike the Pharisees), misinformation from people pretending to be possessed, and Demons lying when they thought it couldn't.
