There are lots of Jamaican rich and upper middle class people who don’t give 2 hoots whether the police act as prosecution, judge and executioner when it comes to the killing of Black Jamaican men. They don’t give a ##$& once it not in dem ‘uptown’ communities. They, without any factual basis, say “dem a criminal, dem fi ded”.

As we are aware from Capri Studies serious crime is linked to certain geospatial indicators. These Indicators do not include wealthy suburban communities. The indicators reside largely in poor, informal, infrastructure starved communities.

Make no mistake, crime & citizen security in Jamaica is a complex of race, class and colour.
