@WriteDraft is a tool I’ve been building for the past two years aimed specifically at writing rough drafts. Check out my reasons for building it at https://t.co/Z3UhjggAWq and signup to find out when it’s going to be available to the public!

@WriteDraft (with sync) is continuing to work well for me. Started this session on my phone while I waited for my son to fall asleep, then shifted to my computer to finish it off. Pretty seamless, but the word count is getting off sometimes. Have to fix that next :)
People are literally buying keyboards with a tiny built in screen from 15 years ago because it’s a better #writing experience than using a computer.

869 words this morning. Not too bad given my state of zero motivation at the beginning of the session. Thank you @WriteDraft for helping me keep moving forward.

The fact that people are still #writing rough drafts on paper proves the job being done by current writing tools is not satisfactory.

I view a first draft as slapping the first coat of paint on a wall. My objective is to get the paint out of the can and to have the courage to paint. As I apply more coats I refine the way it looks. #nonfiction
