We’re Lucy and Robin, and this podcast chronicles our journey from amatuer writers to published authors. Hosted by @LucyinBookland and @RobinRobinsonia.
Our last episode of the season is up! We'll be taking a brief hiatus after this, but episodes will return later this year.

If you're doing #PitMad and you have LGBTQIA characters post a comment and I will boost you.
Also, some kind soul please tell me if they want comments or retweets this round?
I'm selfpub but I love supporting y'all 💚
Screaming, shaking, SO EXCITED to announce I'm officially taking applications for the ✨BookEnds 2022 Publishing Fellowship!✨
I created the fellowship last year to support the needed diversity and transparency/mentorship within this industry & it's back!

Major shout-out to everyone still trucking on Nanowrimo! Thanksgiving always presents a challenge, but you've got this!
To everyone who has already slowed/stopped: it's ok, this still got you thinking about your story, and there will always be other years!
Anyone got recommendations for lesser-known cozy mysteries? I want to get my mom something she hopefully hasn't read.
She likes things low on the gore/trauma. I know she's read the Cat Who books and enjoys Sherlock Holmes...

Happy #NaNoWriMo21 day 4! Lucy's prompt for today is:
Write about the main characters' past together. If they just met, write about anything from their pasts that they have in common, or how different they are.
I'm doing #NaNoWriMo a little differently this year...if you're feeling stuck or burnt out, try joining me in some writing/outlining prompts!

@anxious_Winter2 My arm ached a little, and I felt kind of cruddy for a few days, but it wasn't even as bad as a normal cold. Didn't really interfere with anything, and I was back to normal by the third day.
And a tip for today: don't be afraid to write the same scene over and over. As many times as it takes until you nail it. They all add to your word count, and they all help you develop your understanding of your characters!

Hey late writers! Prompt for today is similar to yesterday's:
Explore the mental state of your second main character/villain/prominent side character, at the beginning of the story.
