Very proud of this little book and the success it's achieved - but even more so of the fact that it's provided comfort to children and adults at a time when they might need it most. Thank you to all the schools, educators, hospices and counselling services who are using it.

The partnership between writer @WriterPoetJohn and illustrator Thomas Docherty continues to flourish. It Won't Be Forever, their third collaboration, beautifully explores the anxiety young children can often feel when separated from a loved one. Very special indeed.
With a warm, lyrical text @WriterPoetJohn & Thomas Docherty’s expressive mixed media illustrations #ItWontBeForever@FL_Childrens shows young children how absence and loss are different. It's #RedReadingHub's #picturebook of the day reviewed on the blog https://t.co/3WxYHXJYvy

Whether your child has been diagnosed with anxiety or ADHD, struggles with regulating emotions, or has lost a loved one, books can be a valuable way to help them navigate the world.
Share them with your kids (and buy them for classroom libraries) because every child deserves to read a story that they can see themselves in.
Working class is when your parents don't support you after 16/18. Middle class is when your parents will financially support you for 1-2 decades longer.
