An author getting a late start on her novel

[Cassandra ✨is revising✨ @WritewCassandra]

It's official: my zero draft is done! 🎉

Monday I will start revisions on my zero draft. But tomorrow I'll start fast drafting my horror novel! October is going to be busy and exciting.

[Cassandra ✨is revising✨ @WritewCassandra]

@PinUpMuse Thank you! 💜 I will be enjoying the high while I punch holes for the rest of the weekend 😂 I may invest in pre-punched paper before I print another draft. It is actually surreal that I have written a book.

I have a manuscript! It's my zero draft, but it's real! #writingmilestone #zerodraft #writing

This video by @abbieemmonsx was so incredibly helpful! It completely changed my strategy for revisions and now I know what my next step needs to be! #zerodraft #writingproblems

I personally favor non-toxic dark romance

Do you prefer your dark romance/romantasy toxic or no?

@Baalofgaming And thanks! I hope it's a strong hook! I'm still outlining, so we'll see

Spooky season inspired me! Now I'm outlining a #darkromance novel, but it might be so dark that I use a pen name. Art History prof by day, witch/demon hunter by night, finally meets her match when she catches the attention of a mysterious warlock, set in Rome. Drafting in Nov!

[Cassandra ✨is revising✨ @WritewCassandra]

@Baalofgaming Probably a bit from both. Definitely from the romance side, but I think demons can be a fun way to explore darkness and have two in mind already for supporting characters 😈

[Cassandra ✨is revising✨ @WritewCassandra]

@everest_r58083 My first novel (the zero draft) was 44k words in 5 weeks. The revisions are a bit slower

A witch who hunts demons. I wish I could edit tweets

[Cassandra ✨is revising✨ @WritewCassandra]

@nicoleg_writes I need this! My first tattoo was the Auryn. What a lovely cover 😍

[Cassandra ✨is revising✨ @WritewCassandra]

@nicoleg_writes 200 is more than zero! Brava!

It's so unfortunate that I can't see all the replies. I would love to know what people think, but twitter hides some of them 🤷🏻‍♀️

[Cassandra ✨is revising✨ @WritewCassandra]

@PinUpMuse Thank you! If I wasn't currently working on another project, I would start it tonight LoL I did already write the act 1 outline though 🤭
