Hi! I’m Nicole! Last December, I had an idea for a fantasy novel and spent the next few days spewing out ideas until I had ~70 pages of worldbuilding! I started my rough draft in cosmo school and am now 30k words in! I can’t wait to share Elorae Aurivelle’s story with you all! ✨
There is a version of the future where my book gets published.
Where I hold it in my hands.
Where readers meet these characters.
Where something that currently exists mostly inside my head becomes real.
Keeping my fingers crossed…🏄♂️💕

Only wrote a bit over 200 words today but I flushed out my older chapters and fixed stuff up! I’m trying to get act 1 settled before I move onto the middle chunk of my story
@woomyyuna Lol it was rough! I was there 8 hours a day 5 days a week and worked through most my lunches and breaks😅when I had an idea I had to run to the break room to write it down in my notes lol!! I didn’t get very far but I graduated in May and have made a lot of progress since then!

@losttinfiction I’ve seen some people say that they don’t like it because when the mc does something the reader wouldn’t have done it takes them out of the book 💀
On days where my brain isn’t in it I try not to force myself to write, my adhd and stuff is so touchy I don’t want to accidentally turn it into something I dread doing. I know it’ll probably take longer to finish my book this way but gotta protect my mental health
@KDDreamwyver I’ve always had issues with repetitive sentence structure, especially like the “she does this, she does that” kind of thing and this is really seeming to help so far!!!
I’ve been listening to audiobooks at night while going to sleep and really trying to focus on how authors vary sentence structure and stuff like that and think it’s actually helping my writing!

Leer libros es una sensación tan increíble. Es como si literalmente estuvieras viendo una película entera con todos los detalles en tu cabeza. Es mágico.
