Trump's political operation is profiting from his flurry of executive orders by hawking gear such as "Make Greenland Great Again," "Gulf of America" and "DOGE" T-shirts, along with the black "dark MAGA" caps worn by Elon Musk. https://t.co/irM91qKbCf

Kamala Harris has been sending fundraising emails all day.
Clogging her supporters' inboxes and overshadowing critical GOTV messages.
Meanwhile Team Trump has ONLY been sending out GOTV messages. Dollars raised today have zero impact on the final results.
The only thing that matters is getting voters to the polls.

HOW TRUMPY IS IT?
When @realDonaldTrump was indicted and arraigned in federal court over his possession of classified documents and his behavior associated with them, it provided interesting insight into where his competitors in the 2024 Republican primaries stand, relative to him and his base of voters.
What do the reactions from his fellow @GOP hopefuls say about how they view their own need to attract Trump supporters?
@TimMurtaugh, NPA Executive Vice President for Communication Strategy, rated the reactions of the Republican field on a scale of 0 to 10 (0 being the farthest away from Trump and 10 being complete alignment).
9.5 – @VivekGRamaswamy
Ramaswamy the entrepreneur held a press conference outside the federal courthouse in Miami where Trump’s arraignment took place and challenged all Republican candidates to pledge to pardon Trump if they are elected president.
In a video the day before, Ramaswamy said: “This is an affront to every American. To me, this isn’t even about Donald Trump. This is about the future of equal justice in America. What we have right now are two tiers of justice, one for Biden, one for Trump.”
8.0 – @RonDeSantis
Florida Gov. DeSantis attacked the Department of Justice (DOJ) for bias, but attempted to position himself as the one who can stop the partisan exploitation of government power.
“The weaponization of federal law enforcement represents a mortal threat to a free society,” he tweeted. “We have for years witnessed an uneven application of the law depending upon political affiliation. Why so zealous in pursuing Trump yet so passive about Hillary or Hunter? The DeSantis administration will bring accountability to the DOJ, excise political bias and end weaponization once and for all.”
8.0 – @larryelder
Elder, a conservative commentator and talk show host, told Fox News that the indictments are evidence of a double standard, but he appeared to reach out to Trump voters who may be concerned that the former president has become too polarizing.
“This is the kind of stuff that you see in a third world country. It is absolutely, completely, totally outrageous. It won’t pass the smell test. All it’s gonna do is energize the base and make Donald Trump even more likely to be nominated,” Elder said, before pivoting. “If I believed that Donald Trump could both be nominated and win, if I thought it was a slam dunk, I wouldn’t be running. I think that a substantial percentage of people have Trump Derangement Syndrome, for which maybe someday there’ll be a vaccine. It’s not fair to him, but a substantial number of people in the swing districts and the suburbs would not vote for the man if he walked on water. And if he did, they’d say he can’t swim.”
7.0 – @DougBurgum
The current governor of North Dakota, Burgum has resisted saying Trump’s name at all as he introduces himself to voters nationally. Burgum endorsed Trump for president in 2016 and 2020 and has said that “people are innocent until they're proven guilty.”
“One thing I can tell you from talking to the voters [is] that people are very concerned about a double standard in this country,” Burgum told ABC’s GMA3 show. “They're concerned that if we have lost trust in our institutions, if we don't believe that the DOJ is going to enforce the laws equally between the two political parties, that's even more serious than the charges themselves.”
7.0 – @votetimscott
Scott, the South Carolina senator, has made glancing references to the severity of the charges against Trump, but has spent most of his time attacking political discrimination in the criminal justice system.
“The one thing that makes America the city on the hill is confidence in our Justice system. And today what we see is a Justice system where the scales are weighted,” Scott said on Fox News. “As president of the United States, I would purge all of the injustices and impurities in our system so that every American can have confidence that they will be seen by the lady of justice with a blindfold on.”
6.0 – @FrancisSuarez
Suarez, the twice-elected mayor of Miami, tried to avoid George Stephanopoulos’ repeated questions about the Trump indictment, noting that a continuous conversation about the former president will almost certainly guarantee his winning the GOP nomination. Under pressure from Stephanopoulos, he ultimately cited Joe Biden’s alleged mishandling of his own classified documents.
“People are frustrated in this country, particularly Republicans, who feel that there isn’t an equal administration of justice,” Suarez said. “That’s what I hear, that’s what Republicans are telling me.”
5.0 – @Mike_Pence
Pence, who served as vice president under Trump, said on NBC’s Meet the Press that the indictment of a former president by his political rivals “sends a terrible message to the wider world.” He also told the Wall Street Journal that “after years of politicization, it’s hard for me to believe that politics didn’t play some role in this decision,” but did not immediately dismiss the charges as frivolous.
“These are very serious allegations,” Pence said. “And I can’t defend what is alleged. But the President is entitled to his day in court, he’s entitled to bring a defense, and I want to reserve judgment until he has the opportunity to respond.”
2.5 – @NikkiHaley
Haley, the former South Carolina governor and Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations, charged that the DOJ and FBI “have lost all credibility with the American people” and tweeted that people are tired of “prosecutorial overreach, double standards, and vendetta politics,” but saved much of her scorn for Trump.
“If this indictment is true, if what it says is actually the case, President Trump was incredibly reckless with our national security. This puts all of our military men and women in danger, if you’re going to talk about what our military is capable of or how we would go about invading or doing something with one of our enemies,” Haley said. “If that’s the case, it’s reckless, it’s frustrating, and it causes problems. You know, we’re looking now, this is the second indictment.
We’re looking at a third indictment coming in with Georgia.”
1.0 – @GovChristie
Christie, the former governor of New Jersey, was unambiguous in his disgust, telling CNN’s Anderson Cooper in a televised town hall that he didn’t believe that DOJ was selectively targeting Trump, though he did believe they should have prosecuted Hillary Clinton for her own issues with classified materials.
“He has shown himself, and I think most particularly in his post-presidency, to be completely self-centered, completely self-consumed, and doesn't give a damn about the American people, in my view, if what the American people want is in conflict with what Donald Trump thinks is best for him,” Christie said. “He is now going to put this country through this when we didn't have to go through it. Everyone's blaming the prosecutors. He did it. It’s his conduct."
0.0 – @AsaHutchinson
As hard as it might be to believe, former Arkansas Gov. Hutchinson went farther than Christie by calling the charges against Trump “serious and disqualifying” on ABC’s This Week, which followed his call for Trump to withdraw from the race.
“Donald Trump’s actions—from his willful disregard for the Constitution to his disrespect for the rule of law—should not define our nation or the Republican Party,” Hutchinson said in a press release. “While Donald Trump is entitled to the presumption of innocence, the ongoing criminal proceedings will be a major distraction. This reaffirms the need for Donald Trump to respect the office and end his campaign.”
One year ago today, President Trump came to Wyoming to help us retake our lone Congressional seat. I’ve been in Congress just a few months, but I’m hard at work addressing the issues I brought up that day.
