@gregorpoynton Yes, one landed on my daughter’s bonnet last week. He was off his face, no lights and clearly no road sense. Her car damaged but they don’t need insurance and the police aren’t interested. Edinburgh west end.
@ScotNational Why? Are there unanswered questions about the finances of the other parties? I haven’t heard of any, nor of any other party officers having embezzled party funds. A general inquiry would surely dilute scrutiny of
SNP finances and procedures - but I’m sure that’s what they want?
@DownWithTheSNP Personally I couldn’t give a toss if he’s disappointed. I don’t want a man with mental health issues cosying up to my daughter and her safety trumps his feelings. The end.
Isn't the comment below spot on?
"I for one would like to see Dorothy Bain, the Lord Advocate and head of the Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS), interviewed under oath for
(a) deciding against charging Nicola Sturgeon, despite allegedly the police having every expectation she would be charged based on the evidence gathered
(b) deciding against charging Colin Beattie (the weaver), the SNP treasurer during much of this time
(c) deciding to focus on the Murrell embezzlement case, rather than also pursue the SNP’s illegal use of the money in the ring-fenced referendum fund
(d) taking an inordinate length of time to arrive at their decisions
(e) allowing Peter Murrell’s court case to be delayed until after the Holyrood election
(f) briefing John Swinney as Operation Branchform proceeded
If it looks like a duck etc......"
Reform of the Lord Advocate role can’t come soon enough if we want faith restored in Scotland’s prosecution service.
@2351onthelist@staylorish@These_Islands I sense that people are becoming a bit more emboldened now that The Murrells grip on power has loosened. Lots of people trying to disassociate themselves. Saving their own skins trumps past loyalties.
@joannaccherry@Lizziek28184692 She kept quiet whilst it suited her to do so. Now she’s putting her tuppence worth in because it gives her publicity because she’s no longer relevant. Black was never known for keeping her mouth shut about things she thought were wrong. Why did she keep her mouth shut back then?
@gazberto@theSNP No, she wasn’t. Only the Nats held her in any esteem. Most people could see exactly what she was - a good communicator but someone wholly lacking in judgement, as has been proven. It’s all coming out now. There’s no legacy and there’ll be no glittering post-FM career.
Apart from the question of Scottish Independence, upon which I doubt we shall ever agree, I find myself in the extraordinary position of agreeing with every word Stuart Campbell is saying. Who’d have thought? He’s doing the Scottish media’s work for them. Thank God someone is.
@TheParty1sOver@CameronRhona Isn’t it funny how this stuff has all been in the public arena via social media for years but it’s only now that the media is beginning to talk about it. One wonders exactly what the SNP did to journalists to stop publication.
@joannaccherry@rapwest But why would we believe the findings of a Scottish Government inquiry? Given their past record I’m afraid it would be a whitewash.
say what you like about Peter Murrell using the SNP’s funds to spend £85 on gourmet beans, at least he didn’t waste the money trying to make an economic case for independence
@MikeyTheBuddie@ScottishLabour How do you know about it then? Could it possibly be that you are making this up as means of deflecting from the current SNP shit show? I suspect so.
