Congratulations @KathyLawrence1 This award is to someone who has “contributed over and above call of duty” to College of Medicine and “shows spirit, dedication and enthusiasm” exemplified by Dr Horlick.100% ticks in all boxes I am certain.
Family doctors are still providing care to patients & I want to encourage anyone who needs care to call their doctor. Most family doctors can do virtual visits by phone or other means & can determine how to best get patients the care they need.
Are you a CDN med stdnt who applied for Family Med in recent @CaRMS_CA match? The FM Selection Working Group wants to hear from you! How fair do you think the process was? Look for the anon. online survey at participtng schools;check with your @CFMSFEMC, @soms_cfpc & @FMEQ reps.

Virtual #GrandRounds will begin any moment, feat.

@DrBrendaHardie Yes-Residents. Different=very few patients in clinic/majority of patient interactions virtual. Different=speed of changes.Same=providing continuing, team-based care to patients built on established relationships. Same=supervising, observing, providing feedback and teaching.
Fascinating comparison of measures taken by different countries vs. #coronavirus
Takeaway: If you don't do your homework early, you pay later. And some countries are still in denial... (US, UK!)
