@Snigglewhip@JTBadger1@RetroCoast@elonmusk There’s an entire county-level elections dept. that runs it, overseen by the county board of supervisors. https://t.co/PmcGdM6ABg
Incidentally, the board is controlled by Republicans 4-1, so direct all conspiracy theories to them.
@kcarlin25@Redistrict@CookPolitical In NV, at least, it’s partly because mail ballots can arrive late as long as they’re postmarked by Election Day. So they’re still receiving votes that need to be counted through Saturday, Nov. 12.
@markjos05095724 Where were you in 2018 when Brian Kemp was doing the same thing in Georgia? After purging hundreds of thousands of voters from the rolls, mostly in Democratic districts? And closing most voting locations in the same districts?
But I’m sure he was totally honorable.
@cheweydelt@jaredlholt@daveweigel It’s not the space, it’s imagining Q types ranting about their insane word salad conspiracies and then running over to ride the mechanical bull. It’s weirdly dissonant.
@AugustFresnel@towniebastard@GailSimone I have an original page from the first issue of Dr. McNinja on my wall and it has brought me so much joy over the years.
@andreapitzer@KevinMKruse When I went to college in Texas in the late 1980s a friend of mine was telling her grandma about all the different friends she was making there. Grammy clutched her pearls and asked in hushed tones, “They’re not ... secular humanists, are they?”
I want to highlight some of the things in this article that are worrisome to me because I fear this is a bad sign of where the administration is headed on clemency and criminal justice more generally. /1 https://t.co/tNsBMIrwR6
@HarmlessLurker@kaitlancollins It’s because the base is still loyal to him. They’re all terrified of being primaried by some QAnon loon who has Trump’s support because they went against him.
@JLangWood@WSJ These are no doubt the same people who couldn’t be bothered to wear a mask to help prevent the spread of COVID. Their concern for other people’s health ends at the moment it inconveniences them.
@patriottakes Perhaps if he’d gone for a group that hadn’t actually been historically discriminated against in this country. Not sure what that would be. Belgians?
@_gucci__taetae_ @Evoluvsu@_foreversimirah I’ve walked around NYC late at night. It’s as safe as any other big city. Back in the 80s when the crack vials crunched under your feet every time you took a step in some neighborhoods, not so much.
@xTACMAN @purpleroseh23@GaGaVeRSe@AP_Politics Because they were utter lunatics who were trying to storm the counting center during a pandemic. The actual election observers, Republican and Democrat, were inside and were observing the count per the rules.
