@Pirat_Nation Every time I use that disaster of an OS, it always reminds me of how terrible Microslop Windows is. Can they just leave people's systems alone?
@DrAtomius@hardwarecanucks 720p in 2026, right, and its way different it's a handheld on a smaller screen and a dedicated GPU that is connected to a larger display or a TV.
@Ps5prodisciple@BlooHook We have the option of having an open platform like GOG where we can back up our purchased games, even if it is not the majority of the gamers. It's much better than buying from Sony on a locked platform.
@StopKilingGames@pcgamer@theESA Mojang for example provides Server binaries which you can use to host your own server is that in their mind considerd piracy?
@dgramr Sony, Xbox, and Nintendo are using emulation for older games that are purchased within their stores.
The software is legal, and if you have a game and rip it correctly, that should be considered legal.
The part of getting the roms from sources is the illegal part.
@Dexerto WTF? So now siding with the greedy game developers? This is ridiculous, but we must continue on this.
If Stop Killing Games does not get passed,, then why should we not pirate the games?
@MEGAprivacy If you still use Google Chrome, that is more of a security risk. There are way better browsers out there. Brave if you want a chromium based browser, or also Helium is a good browser. Or if you want to use Firefox based ones, then there is
Firefox
Zen
Librewolf.
@Pirat_Nation Steam is the only good PC games platform so its not their fault the others sucks ass, and they are not forced to publish the games on steam even though we have seen epic games doing this exclusive of their which did not work.
Like they are being targeted...
@Keir_Starmer It has never been about the children its just the excuse you guys use to push age verification because, at the end of the day you guys want control.
@Pirat_Nation If you use any sort of cloud, use encryption on zipped files or a program like Cryptomator, which encrypts your files and syncs them to the cloud, and use a strong password because, at the end of the day, you are trusting a company to hold most of your private files.
