Disc don’t matter to me anymore. I bought physical a few times this current gen and have been disappointed.

There’s barely a cool booklet with photos and info or lore, no more free online access codes, no maps or posters, it’s just a plastic case with a code or a disc if you’re lucky.

I don’t want a piece of plastic with just a disc. I want a game case with love poured into it just like the 360 and PS2 days.

If Sony and other console company’s can’t pour love into the game case then I’m all for getting rid of physical plastic cases. I’ll just collect figurines and posters by my favorite artists from games that I love.

@GameOvRMan @DeekeTweak They are already screwed. This was the nail in the coffin. I’m sure PlayStation will continue the next year or 2 but after that it’ll be a slow and steady decline amongst consumers.

The problem is that it takes Sony forever to pump out an interesting game worth turning my PS5 on. So it stays off til the next exclusive. I haven’t played it since Spiderman.
