There, they received Holy Communion together and embraced, with Danny saying that their children, now pray for Davidson on their knees at home.

@NoTrueScotist Death penalty is a great example. Utilitarianism and misguided justice pushes me to want many criminals put to death. Only through the Church do I see how the death penalty is a last resort without good justification in my country where criminals can be imprisoned reliably

I grew up in a completely homogeneous society with no diversity so I’m acutely aware of what we have lost.

Multiculturalism is a recent phenomenon in Ireland, allow me to explain.

There were no black people in my neighbourhood, school, local sports teams or church. None. Zero. No foreigners at all.

Well, there were 4 refugees from Kosovo up the road, but they were actual refugees. Disabled kids with no parents taken in by Irish families. Other than that, no foreigners.

I didn’t meet a black person in Ireland until I was 20 years old. For the first half of my life there were no kebab shops, no foreign taxi drivers and no foreigners working in hotels or retail until the Polish arrived.

Women didn’t have to worry about foreigners following them home because there wasn’t any around.

Fast forward to 2024 and my town is overrun with foreigners. Foreign languages on the streets, foreign shops everywhere and gangs of foreign men loitering on every corner. Even the gardai are foreign.

Everything I knew about my home has changed. This town and this country are completely unfamiliar to me and every day it gets worse.

Demographics = destiny.
