People fighting cancer will always have my utmost respect, but those doing it during these difficult times are really some of the bravest people you could meet.
And to do it with a smile too, just amazing people and they deserve more support.
We could all learn a lot from them.
Lots of my cancer patients are plucking up the courage to leave their house for the first time in months.
It's important not to assume everyone is in the same mental place as you.
Please respect people's distance, we all need to make it as stress-free as possible for them.
@ProfKarolSikora Time is massively important to some families. My dad is battling stage 4 cancer and having this precious time taken away from us is heartbreaking. X he’s made the decision, time is to precious to waste now and enoughs enough. He wants time with his grandson! X
The respect I have for patients fighting cancer during this pandemic is enormous.
We could all learn a thing or two about overcoming adversity from those people.
@ProfKarolSikora My dad was diagnosed with stage 4 renal cancer in July and he’s fighting spirit is inspiring. He’s been nothing but positive no matter what’s been thrown at him! He’s currently going through immuno therapy and awaiting radio on some areas! He’s incredible! 🙌🏽
We're not the only ones grappling with how best to ease the lockdown.
All across the world we're seeing this delicate balancing act.
We'll get there. The Shanghai Disneyland reopened today!
Life will return to some form of normality here too.
@MerseyHack@BBCNWT What makes me laugh the most is these people will be out clapping for the NHS on Thursday! If your cared so much about the NHS and the health of the bloody country, you would stick to the rules! The stuff I have seen from yesterday is an absolute disgrace!
