Median home price 2026 $300K with most states paying a minimum wage of 15-20 which results in the same 20x multiplier. Meaning that homes today are equally as "affordable" as they were in 1981 with 66% less interest. Interest in 1981 18% - interest rate she cited in her video 6.5%. On top of that she said nothing of "price" she only cited 6.5% interest. I remember the "freedoms" we Gen X folks used to enjoy - buying a pack of smokes for your dad at 11, shotguns in the back window of your PU truck in HS, if ya got busted, cops would just take ya home, or follow you home. Generation after generation a few more freedoms get taken away and with the militarization of police across the country, the biggest threat to your "freedom" is law enforcement operating with unchecked power, over-stepping their authority regularly, cameras everywhere, a cashless society lest you be the target of a civil forfeiture for having more cash than the feds allow. This is the trajectory and the younger generations don't even know the difference because they've never experienced the level of freedom that existed just 3 decades ago. There is no "country" that threatens our "freedom" like our own Govt.
