For #GivingTuesday please consider donating to one of my student's medical bills from an accident that happened last year. <3 Love you all https://t.co/j1dFga6COu #gofundme#children#CRPS
@blairewhite@TheOmniLiberal Love seeing both sides of the discussion. I think people don't realize that when it comes to this topic that actually the left/right agree on many things. Unfortunately it's the loud minorities skewing what the other side believes of the other.
@againstgrmrs@MAGAY_2 Question - why is it that LGBT's people marriages are in question. Statistically straight people groom children more, yet their marriage is never brought up. This is what I don't like about this group. It's like PETA to me - agree with the message but their methods are crazy
@vtdigger And it’s only going to get worse. Many districts lost ESSER funds that provide many behavioral and guidance positions. Why is Vermont losing funding during this critical time after COVID?
@BethBlp8@BruceAHeyman Doesn't make sense. You have to be vaccinated to travel between both countries anyways. The virus will spread amongst communities, mostly unvaccinated communities, and families/friends that are vaccinated should not suffer because people have a death wish.
@Forbes This is getting ridiculous. Thankfully it is proving that the vaccine is effective w mild symptoms. If that's the case then all these things are for "the unvaccinated" who will once again fill up hospitals. Change the law that we don't treat them anymore.
@EssexPR It did bring down cases. FL has lost THOUSANDS of people unnecessarily where other highly populated areas didn't because they had mask mandates in place. It was eventually going to go down, but the question has always been with how many people's lives lost in the process.
I don’t think @POTUS realizes he can open up the Canada land border while keeping the Mexican one closed. Liberals are educated enough to know the difference and not call it racist. (As a liberal). He’s swiftly losing my vote by continuing to extend the closure.
Of course it isn't. If you're fully vaccinated with a negative test how are you going to give someone Delta, especially when its a high viral load. Point fingers at Alberta, not Americans that followed the rules.
@realDailyWire DeSantis doesn't understand that you can have mask mandates and regulate when cases are high, and still not lose freedom. There's a middle. The fact that he is playing this black/white game with COVID is costing many people's health. Also someone inform him FL doesnt border MX.
@dmacdermott1 @KTremblay64 @Trump_Detester @CanadensisMax @JustinTrudeau That will never happen in Canada or the USA. Fully vaccinated Americans with a negative test are not going to cause a 4th wave. Worry about Alberta.
@RocksGin@cabc_co@LetUsReunite Which is why I feel comfortable that you also need a negative test to enter. Canada is much more prepared if there is someone who somehow slips through with your high vaccine rate. The people want to cross, like myself, just want to see our S/O/families.
@RocksGin@cabc_co@LetUsReunite This is why you are required to also have a negative test before or upon entering. I'm not exactly sure what you think will happen, but there's always going to be a new variant and you're more likely to get Delta from an unvaccinated Canadian than a vaccinated American.
@00GrlGamer00 Teacher moving to VT because I'm done with it. It's pretty 50/50 because the alt-right don't really care about other people till it happens to them personally. They enjoy their "freedoms" till they're stuck in the ICU. If you're healthy, everything seems fine and open.
@jeff48630168 It's very rare for someone vaccinated to get the virus, the latest reports just say when they DO get it, they can spread it as much. Also, you need a negative COVID test prior on top of a quarantine plan for random selection of another test at the border. It will be fine.
@My_Marig0ld@ginya97@globalnews Not saying towards fully vaccinated. I support that 💯. I’m saying when people say « close it to ALL Americans » basically claiming we’re all Covidiots. That’s the xenophobia.
@ginya97@globalnews You're more likely to get Delta from an Albertan than a vaccinated American with a negative COVID test crossing the border. The idea that "they" are going to make you sick has ingrained a sick xenophobic mindset in this culture.
