When Hamas Accepts Peace, Why Is TLP Spreading Chaos?

At a time when the world finally sees a glimmer of hope for Gaza, Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) is dragging Pakistan toward unnecessary confrontation, not to defend Palestine, but to revive its own fading relevance.

Hamas, the central party in the Gaza conflict, has already accepted a U.S.-mediated 20-point peace plan ensuring an immediate ceasefire, prisoner exchanges, and partial Israeli withdrawal.

The plan, endorsed by both Hamas and the Palestinian Authority, and backed by 22 Arab League states and the OIC, represents a collective Muslim effort to stop the bloodshed and allow humanitarian relief to reach civilians.

That makes TLP’s agitation not just misguided, but dangerous. When the very people under occupation have embraced negotiation to end their suffering, there is no moral or religious justification for igniting unrest in Pakistan.

TLP is not standing for Gaza; it is hijacking Gaza’s pain for political theatre. Its threats of sit-ins, confrontations, and violent processions expose an old pattern, using sacred causes to mask political desperation.

Meanwhile, Pakistan’s real solidarity is already visible: repeated humanitarian flights carrying food, medicine, and medical equipment to Gaza; consistent diplomatic advocacy at the UN and OIC; and strong public support for peace.

But TLP has nothing to offer except chaos. Its so-called protest endangers Pakistan’s law and order, strains security resources, and tarnishes the country’s image abroad. Police seizures of weapons and pellets from TLP handlers prove intent to provoke.

The irony could not be sharper: Hamas is trying to save lives, TLP is risking them.

If the group’s concern were truly humanitarian, it would lead medical aid, and relief coordination, not traffic blockades and violent marches. Gaza needs medicine, food, and rebuilding, not noise and anarchy from within Pakistan.

India has over 20 active insurgent groups in its own country ,including Naxalites, ULFA, Khalistani separatists, and Nagaland insurgents. Are they terrorists? If not, why call others that? According to Indian Ministry of Home Affairs, Naxalite Maoist violence has killed more Indian civilians. Over 83,000 Pakistanis (civilians + military) have died in terror attacks since 2001 — this is not the profile of a terrorist state. Pakistan has lost $150+ billion in economic damages due to terrorism (source: Govt of Pakistan, IMF estimates). If we were supporting terrorism, why would we suffer the most from it? Even U.S. State Department, UN, and FATF acknowledged Pakistan’s progress in fighting terror groups, with FATF removing Pakistan from the grey list in 2022. Pakistan conducted the massive military operation Zarb-e-Azb in 2014 and Radd-ul-Fasaad, eliminating thousands of militants from tribal areas. The 2002 Gujarat riots, 2020 Delhi pogroms, and attacks on minorities inside India raise serious human rights concerns. BJP leaders have openly supported extremist ideology is extremism okay if it’s state sponsored? India’s own spy Kulbhushan Jadhav, a serving Indian Navy officer, was caught in Balochistan operating a terror network. This was not a rumor he admitted on video, and India confirmed he’s their officer. Why would a state sponsor such activity? Western media often parrots narratives without acknowledging geopolitical bias , especially when it suits U.S./Indian interests in the region. The same West called Afghan Mujahideen freedom fighters in the 1980s , later labeled them terrorists. Words are politics, not facts. Pakistan facilitated the U.S.-Taliban peace deal in Doha in 2020 , a diplomatic success praised even by Donald Trump. If Pakistan wanted conflict, why help end America’s 20 year war?
Investigation is your right, but don’t judge a whole nation of 250 million people based on alleged involvement of a few. By that logic, do we label all Indians as terrorists because of RSS attacks or Samjhauta Express bombing? #IndiaPakistanConflict

When the False Flag Palwama Operation incident happened, we offered to extend all-out cooperation to India but India failed to produce any concrete evidence. Sadly, the nation has been divided by an illegitimate government imposed through fraudulent Form-47 results. And yet, ironically, Narendra Modi’s aggression has united the people of Pakistan in one voice against Indian hostility. While we reject this fake regime, we stand firmly as one Pakistani nation and strongly condemn Modi's war-mongering and his dangerous ambitions that threaten regional peace.

Needless to say, to win the war against an external enemy, the nation must first be united. It is high time to put a halt to all actions that are further polarizing the nation. The state’s excessive focus on political victimisation at this critical time is deepening internal divisions and undermining the nation’s collective ability to confront external threats.

It is naive to expect any strong stance from self-serving figures like Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari. They will never speak out against India because their illegal wealth and business interests lie abroad. They profit from foreign investments, and to protect those financial interests, they remain silent in the face of foreign aggression and baseless allegations against Pakistan. Their fear is simple: that Indian lobbies might freeze their offshore assets if they dare to speak the truth.”
