In The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, the fairy Faie supports Elliot with her power.
Using Ignite, Faie is enveloped in flames, attacking enemies or illuminating the darkness. Here is a face-off with Elvis from Bravely Default II!
Artwork by Megumi Okawara.
In 2016, a fan released AM2R, a full remake of Metroid II.
He had spent around 10 years making it.
Days after release, Nintendo issued DMCA takedowns and the project was officially stopped.
The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium tales includes a mini-game where you search for a cat so here's a collaborative illustration with Frederica from Triangle Strategy, by Tatsuaki Urushibara!
It’s turned into a pink-haired duo, hasn’t it?
In The Adventures of Elliot you'll embark on adventures set across various eras, even prehistoric times, so here's a special illustration with Pogo from Live a Live, by Maika Minami!
Have you played the demo yet?
Since Elliot is a master of the spear, bow, and hat (?) here's special artwork with Partitio from Octopath Traveler II, illlustrated by Sachi Hiruta.
What kind of collaboration art do you think we'll share tomorrow?
Hope resonates within the crystals.
Introducing Final Fantasy Resonance. The first HD-2D Final Fantasy title arrives on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 22, 2026.
I hope the art style is an evolution of Twilight Princess. I can't wait to see the new character designs and gameplay, though I'll try to see as little as possible so I can be surprised when I play it myself
I'm glad it's going to be a complete remake rather than just the same N64 game with 4K textures, like Star Fox. Still, I'm a little nervous about how the changes they're going to implement might turn out
@ShawnSindulfo Yeah, that's what I noticed too. I think the release of Rebirth on Switch 2 will give it a significant boost, but the console didn't exist when the game originally came out, so that sales potential is relatively new
It's kind of funny how toxic Square Enix's relationship with PlayStation is becoming, haha. Considering they hardly ever announce their games on State of Plays anymore, and how they initially refused to feature their characters in Astro Bot... it's a little strange and funny.
Champions of the Continent evolved into 0. FF Brave Exvius into Resonance.
From the very beginning, CotC felt like a game designed for consoles, it was already in HD-2D, but Brave Exvius... it’s clear it underwent a much more extensive overhaul, so I’m curious to see the result
@ShawnSindulfo I think it had more to do with Sony pushing too hard to tie Final Fantasy to the PlayStation brand, which led to exclusives and caused Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Final Fantasy XVI to not sell as well as Square Enix had hoped
@ShawnSindulfo Cloud and Sephiroth ended up appearing in Astro Bot 2, but it took a while because Square Enix initially didn't want to license the characters
