Was lucky to take a close-up photo of the 紫金山-ATLAS comet last night despite the bad weather. This comet was first discovered by the Purple Mountain Observatory in Nanjing, where I stayed for 11 years. Mixed emotions.

My lovely Yellowstone coin turned dark because of the silver sulfide formed at its surface. A piece of aluminum foil and some salty water makes it shiny again. Not perfect thought likely because it's not made of pure silver. One of my favorite daily-life chemistry
