This isnโt fresh borrowing itโs refinancing. The ~$20B is to take out the existing bridge loan maturing Sept 2027, which is the bulk of their $29.1B long-term debt. Doing it right after the IPO is exactly when youโd expect it: public listing = better terms on the bond. Standard treasury move, not a red flag.
@unknowDLT Tesla IPO opened at 1.27, next week after IPO the low was 0.99c. Its going up since. Even if it pulles back to 100-105USD its a long term buy for sure.
