This does not just reflect a few "bad apples" at OU who are prejudiced and discriminatory and who think harassment of GC people is justified.
The reason they were so open about it is because it is so widespread in universities.
Universities are full of bullies who've been allowed to harass and discriminate against GC women with impunity. The screen grabs here are just a small sample of the severe culture problem within academia, and the scale of the task institutions will have cleaning it up
"Overall, this was a resounding defeat for the Scottish Government. What’s more, it was a vindication of the concerns that have been raised by feminist organisations for years and which have been, until recently, shamefully ignored." https://t.co/PX7E9yPaZY
We were delighted to hear @KemiBadenoch say in parliament today that she will ask the Equality Hub to work with The Lesbian Project in future (around 14.23). What a fabulous day discussing women's rights, single-sex provision, freedom of speech, schools, policy-making and much more. Plus wonderful poetry and the company of brave, intelligent, compassionate women. Thank you & happy 1st birthday @beirasplace.

We've issued a statement about Wednesday's screening and discussion of Adult Human Female on our blog. TLDR: we're glad it finally went ahead, but the massive security operation should have been unnecessary, and the campus climate needs to be tackled.

Thank you, @Louise_m_perry for hosting me on @maiden_podcast.
I find myself struggling to encapsulate the totality of the horror that’s engulfing India at the moment. With every changing era, there’s a new form of misogyny; because women-hatred is eternal
