I think the single greatest question fans have about The Teal Mask DLC is…how will level scaling work?It’s very odd to me because there were previews for this DLC,but no one seemed to ask,”if I bring my level 65 Iron Thorns to Kitakami will there actually be a challenge or are all the Pokémon & Trainers at level 10?”

This 1st part of the DLC can be completed at any time, or in other words it basically takes place before we beat the main SV plot. So realistically you could start a brand new save file and jump right into kitakami with level 1 Pokémon.

So what does this mean? Will this DLC’s Pokémon & trainers scale to your current levels? Or will they be set at lower levels that get stronger. Or will they be set to mid range levels like 55?

I hope it’s the last option because,what was really the point of paradox Pokémon otherwise. By the time we catch paradoxes in base SV there’s maybe like an hour or so of plot left for us to use them. This would be the perfect way to say, “hey you can use those paradox Pokémon you caught at the end of the game on your team now!”
But if everything is level 10 for the majority of this DLC there’s again no way to use them for more then like an hour LOL. The same goes for any legendaries or even if you want to use your same team from base SV that are all around level 70 now too…
