@SwedishRumble Just one caveat - the EFL doesn't accept blindly the teams that are relegated from the PL, because they also have a fit & proper test that the owners/directors have to pass. City* having been relegated due to crass fraud would obviously in the eyes of anyone would fail said test

@IRaiderette And it well can be, but in all honesty - a 4 year college degree in cosmetology? If someone wants to do it, fair for them, but getting a student loan for a trade that doesn't pay very well is not good business sense.

@IRaiderette and now we have an acute shortage of skilled labour to man these positions. When I went to school, the same teachers would identify if you were uni material or not, and then (with your parents) take a decision to guide you to trade school or university.

@IRaiderette Mesopotamian Pole Dancing etc., and were saddled with debt without a job in their field so that they could pay it back. Meanwhile, well paid trades like electricians, bricklayers, plumbers, etc. aged and aged and aged until they all had retired (2/3)

@inHighburyN5 The EFL has a fit & proper test for all teams, so they would be well within their rights to not accept City* into the EFL seeing that they have been found guilty of fraud. That would mean that they would have to drop down to tier 6 of the National League. That would bankrupt them
