The secessionist Mafia in Hargeisa has a long history of shifting responsibility for its own actions. In 1988, the SNM blamed Siyad Barre, and today they point fingers at the federal government. In Laascaanood in 2023 and now in Borama, they are butchering people and pointing fingers elsewhere. This is the true face of the secessionist, one-clan enclave of "Somaliland." Their fake victimization and the deceptive narrative they have been playing since 1988 are being exposed. Today, as they kill civilians, the myth of the fake Isaaq genocide is finally coming to an end.
We, the people of Sanag, demand a thorough and official investigation into the tragic killing of Chief Omar, which has generated widespread concern that AFRICOM’s counterterrorism efforts could be directed againstcivilians!

Two years on, after the defeat of the bloodthirsty occupiers, SSC-khatumo has since succeeded to triumph over so many odds, unaided, and finally became a new federal State, the NE, in partnership with Makhir.
The very president who shut the door on Khaatumo in 2014, then under the leadership of the late Dr Ali Khalid Galaydh, is now welcoming NE with open arms. Obviously, HSM’s interests have changed- at least for now but tomorrow is another day. But for now the party goes on and I shouldn’t spoil the fun !!!
When it comes to the former SSC-Khatumo, credit for its success has to be given to where it’s due. For me, it’s first and foremost to the gallant men and women who liberated SSC - from Kalshaale to Gooje Adde, many sacrificing their lives and others maimed for life. it’s a credit due to the new unshakeable spirit of unity in the people, from the diaspora to those at home. It’s that unity for which they had paid so deeply, born from the pain of occupation and the will never to return to the bad old days of internal divisons which only served their nemesis. It’s that self-generated success that kept SSCkh on its course, on an automatic pilot. Firdhiye was merely on guard.
Still, credit is due to him for being Mr clean, a rare quality lacking in his boss, HSM, or leaders of other FMS. He set an example of honesty for all concerned in the wider Somalia.
Otherwise SSC-Khaatumo has reached its final destination thanks to its own people more than to anyone else.
But NE State is no longer Khaatumo. It combines two peoples who would face many challenges, above all holding them together and fulfilling their socioeconomic aspirations. These calls for a leader who combines these critical competencies to deal with them: a visionary, a persuader, reconciler, competence to manage the state’s development, statesmanship and skilful interlocutor for the states’ rights, a diplomat to deal with the international community and seek friends for NE State and get adversaries off its backs (e.g. UK).
For me it’s NE first, not “Ninjeclaysi”.
Held a very productive meeting with leaders of opposition political parties in Somali Region. In addition to Prosperity Party, leaders of ONLF, Freedom & Justice Party, Western Somali Democratic Party, and Union for Democracy and Freedom Party attended the meeting.
I have learnt with sadness the tragic loss of our Son General Farhan Qarole; A gallant who has bravely remained in the front line in the war against Alshabaab. He sacrificed his life to save many lives & I ask my fellow citizens to pray for him & his family at this time of grief.
