What's Happening in Uttar Pradesh ?
A 21 year old innocent girl filed an FIR on 19th May against Devkant Uttam (owner of Uttam Hospital, Unnao) and his nephew Vivek Patel (ambulance driver) for rape.
Just a few days after filing the FIR, these monsters kidnapped her, shot her dead, and dumped her body 450 km away in Bulandshahr.
Now both accused are "safe" in police custody.
Vivek Patel has confessed, and Devkant Uttam surrendered in court.
The FIR was already registered with their names, then why was the girl not protected?
Is there no responsibility to protect the victim after she files a rape case?
This is not justice this is murder by conspiracy. The girl lost her dignity and her life.
Aside from the CBSE’s incompetent, hasty implementation of its OSM system and the corruption in its tender process, the CBSE has also been in the news for its arbitrary implementation of three-language formula in Grade 9 and 10. What’s the backstory to this move?
In December 2025, the CBSE’s Governing Body met for its semi-annual meeting. The CBSE Governing Body specifically and unequivocally ratified its Curriculum Committee’s recommendation that CBSE should continue with its existing scheme of studies ‘especially with regards to language’ until the release of graded textbooks of languages by NCERT. The Chairman and Secretary of CBSE – now transferred out - attached their signatures to this decision.
In May 2026, the CBSE issued a circular asking schools to add a 3rd language to Grade 9 and 10 curriculum from July 1st, 2026. It asked schools to use the NCERT’s Grade 6 textbooks to teach the 3rd language to their 9th grade students.
What changed in the last six months? The NCERT has not released any 3rd language textbooks for Grade 9 and 10. The CBSE Chairman and Secretary who signed this decision continued to hold office at this point. Despite that, the CBSE effectively overruled the recommendation of its Curriculum Committee even after it was ratified by its own Governing Body. Why and on whose orders did the CBSE commit this U-turn?
There is zero academic rationale for this move, which is throwing academic calendars and school planning into chaos and disrupting the academic futures of lakhs of students. The only agenda here is clearly political. Clearly, the Education Ministry and its autonomous bodies like CBSE operate on the whims and political agendas of the Modi Government rather than on advice from educationists in its own bodies.
But when it comes to accountability, it is officials like the CBSE Chairperson and Secretary who are transferred out while their political boss in the Pradhan Mantri’s Cabinet is protected.
The Mantri Pradhan, who has shown himself to be a political hack with zero integrity and zero respect for academic expertise, must resign.
The Supreme Court dismissed the PIL on E20 saying the govt "followed due process." The PIL wasn't asking for a rollback. It simply asked for:
✅ Fuel labels at pumps
✅ E10 option retained
✅ Nationwide compatibility study.
All 3 rejected. This is what "due process" looks like.
Not sure why exactly we have courts in india. Shame.
This is not like the paid crowds that come for politicians at ₹500 per head.
These are students who have come to support Khan sir today, after the ruckus outside his coaching last night.
Trying to reach there on 6 th to show my solidarity to the most relevant Cockroach movement .. since i am too far away shooting a film (a prior commitment) Trying my best to be there . Requesting all young cockroachs to crawl there .. #justasking
5 bright young lives lost too early.
1. Ritik Mishra (21), Lakhimpur Kheri, UP
2. Unnamed boy (17), Goa
3. Anshika Pandey (20), Adarsh Nagar, Delhi
4. Pradeep Meghwal (22), Jhunjhunu, RJ
5. Akanksha Chaturvedi (18), Mauganj, MP
All died by su*c*e after NEET paper leak, exam cancellation, and Re-NEET announcement.
In any functional democracy, the education minister would’ve resigned by now.
But here, lives of young citizens matter as much as cockroaches to those in power.
Dear @BJP4Keralam,
You need an American official's quote to defend Modi. Fair enough.
In 2013, Assistant Treasury Secretary Charles Collyns called India one of the world's five "fragile" economies, alongside Brazil, Indonesia, Turkey and South Africa.
"Fragile" means handle with care.
Then Modi took over and, according to American President Donald Trump, transformed it into a "dead economy."
Quite a journey for a Vishwaguru, especially when the review comes from his own close friend.
India apparently graduated from "fragile" to "dead." That's not economic growth. That's economic cremation.
It was nearly a decade ago. DK sir was Karnataka’s Power Minister, and we were on a tour near Ramanagara district. Suddenly, he said he wanted me to see his mulberry farm. DK sir has a deep passion for agriculture and sericulture. He took me to his wonderful farm and walked me through the entire process of silk manufacturing with remarkable depth and mastery.
Today, as we drove from HAL airport to Raj Bhavan for his oath-taking, I noticed his beautiful silk attire and asked if it was from his own farm and factory. He laughed - and had a look that said, “you remember.” 😄
Rarely does politics produce a leader like DK Shivakumar. Rarely does a person pour every waking hour into the pursuit of their calling with such relentless dedication. DK sir means different things to different people, but to me, he is someone I observed for years, learning the nuances of politics and society from him. He always offered a unique insight drawn from vast experience, and each one taught you something substantial. My early years in politics were spent travelling the length and breadth of Karnataka with him, and it was an enormously enriching experience.
His loyalty to the party is legendary. He always says, “I was born a Congressman and I will die a Congressman.” Having closely witnessed the pressure the BJP put on him, sending him to jail and tormenting his family, very few men could have survived it, let alone emerged stronger.
In private moments of tremendous pressure, he would tell us, “My blood is Congress. I will never betray my party. Sonia ji is like my mother, I will never leave Congress, no matter what.” That is the depth of love that he carries, especially for the Gandhi family.
Today, his long-cherished dream of becoming Chief Minister has become reality. Knowing him as I do, I am absolutely certain he will be among the finest CMs my state has ever seen. There is no task he cannot accomplish once his mind is set and with a strong team, he will deliver good governance.
Six years ago, fate and opportunity brought me to Delhi. DK sir had just become KPCC President and would often discuss his plans and strategies for winning the 2023 Karnataka election. When I told him I had been called to Delhi, he asked me to come see him. I went to his house, as always, late at night. He said he was very happy for me, and that from that day forward, “You are not my man. You are my leader’s man”. 😄
DK sir, we are happy to see you as Chief Minister. May Karnataka rise under your leadership, and may we win the 2028 election with the biggest majority yet. Much love.

In india, if your best friend kills themselves after the mismanagement of the most career and life defining exam in your life and you are upset about, people will tag the home minister to complain that you are saying fuck and talking about it as a teenager
