@LaurenAngelone An example of blended learning that I have experienced as a student is reading or watching something on your own and coming to class the and having things to discuss. #Xuedchat
@LaurenAngelone Our community collaborative lesson plan is based on the penguins at the Cincinnati zoo. The students will be able to learn about how their choices could help or effect a lot of things. #Xuedchat
@colb924 R3: I voted for student choice and voice. I think allowing the students to have a voice is very important. Allowing them to have a say will often make them more interested in the subject or topics. #Xuedchat
@JuliaMu98845595 R2: I really like Padlet. It is a great resource to use for discussions. I also like the option where you can do it anonymous, this allows students to post and not be afraid of saying something "wrong" #xuedchat
@scarbroughh22 R1: I personally like the hybrid classes the most. I think its great being able to go in person a few times but than being able to stay home and doing class online. #xuedchat

@carlyxavier28 R2: This is a great account, thanks for sharing Carly. Finding books is something that I find difficult sometimes so he will defiantly help me :) #xuedchat
@annissa_conway @LaurenAngelone R3: I also said the global read aloud tool would be an awesome choice for the classroom. This is a very interesting tool,I think students would really like and it would be a great way for students to get to know more about other countries and connect with other students. #xuedchat
@carlyxavier28 @LaurenAngelone R1:I think this would be an awesome tool for the kids to use in the classroom. It would be really interesting for the kids to see how other classrooms are ran. They could do a project on whats similar or what different about the classrooms. #xuedchat
@LaurenAngelone A1: I really like the idea of the Global Read Aloud Project. I love read aloud books and think that this would be something the kids would be interested in. I think it would be a good experience for the kids to get to connect with other countries with books. #xuedchat
@LaurenAngelone At the high school I went to, we had many websites blocked and banned. With that being the issue we are not able to view what is actually being said about the topics that we are trying to find research on. This can make it difficult to do a project on when we can't access the 2/
@JuliaMu98845595 I think this is really important. Teachers need to offer a variety of text and not just one thing. If there are multiple options that opens up more opportunities for discussion. #Xuedchat
@colb924 @LaurenAngelone This would be my second choice to teach. Many times we are in such a rush to submit something. We find ourselves rushing to simply have something to turn in. We don't think about what it could possibly lead to.We need to teach stuents the correct way to search for things.#Xuedchat
@carlyxavier28 @LaurenAngelone I totally agree with you, I think it is important for everyone especially younger kids who are just now starting to use an iPad or electronic. They often google stuff or are just on social media and see something and think it is true because its online. #Xuedchat
