Core Prop 5 says that teachers are members of learning communities, and this course has helped me find resources and ways to connect with other educators so that we can all learn from one another. #TCH401#401reflection
@CrazyPln On the last day of class, I bring some treats for my Ss like donuts or pizza to show my appreciation for them. I tell them how wonderful it was to work with every single one of them and I know they will do great things in their fields! #CrazyPLN
I commit to incorporating feedforward in my classroom by checking my students' projects a couple times to point out things I notice to improve before they have to turn them in. #TCH401#feedforward
ICYMI: Tech Goes Home recently published our 2021 Annual Report in three languages! Read about all that the TGH community achieved together last year - now in English, Spanish, and Haitian Creole! https://t.co/CVarJHNWFz

Creative Communicator: For next semester, I think it'd be a good idea to let my students choose the way they want to present one of the projects they have to do during the semester. #TCH401#ISTEStandars

It's National AccessAbility Week in Canada! I think it's great that they have a time in the year to promote accessibility and celebrate what people with disabilities can give to society. #TCH401#a11y
It’s #NAAW2022.
Not only is improving your #CdnBusiness’s accessibility a smart and sustainable investment, but removing barriers also improves your customers’ overall experience.

Hospitable dialogue was an ah-ha moment for me because to collaborate truly with others, we need to be open to their ideas, and to make space for them to express themselves. #tch401#radicalcollaboration
@blckfrd2 When we know it’s going to take some time to achieve something, we might get to feel tired of it, unmotivated, etc., and this is why we need to help our students stay focused by constantly checking in with them. #tch401
@blckfrd2 I agree that all students are capable of reaching their goals. We just need to teach and help our students keep track of their goals, whatever kind they are, not only academic. #tch401
@alex_bryk We need to surprise our students with new things! and like my language coordinator once said: Don't be afraid to try new activities, and if they don't work with your students then don't use them again. As simple as that! #tch401
@alex_bryk I agree with you Alex. It is important to take risks in the classroom in order to try new things. If we stay in our comfort zone by doing the same things that always work for our students, I think that even that can eventually become monotonous and dull. #tch401
Kids nowadays spend way too much time on social media. I liked this lesson that teaches 6th graders how to find ways to maintain balance between online and offline activities. #TCH401#digitalcitizenship

I don’t know about teachers in the US, but in Mexico we oftentimes ask and encourage our students to collaborate with others, but most teachers don’t collaborate with other teachers. Collaboration is good to keep learning new ways to improve our teaching! #connectededucator
I’m exciting about this course because technology has become an important part in the process of teaching and learning languages! I want to make the best of all the tech options out there that are still unknown by me! #tch401#tch401introductions
