ICYMI: I'm running for LG because I believe in the promise of R.I. but that promise is fading away because government has failed to adapt to change and people like Trump are pitting us against one another.
It's time for a new generation of leadership with bold ideas. Join us.
Over the past few months, you’ve graciously welcomed me at your meetings across the state. Rhode Islanders are ready for a new generation of leadership focused on results, opportunity, and winning for the families who make this state work.
During part of my childhood, my family lived in Pawtuxet Village. Gaspee Days were always the highlight of the year. It was great seeing old friends during the Arts and Crafts Festival this past weekend!
Great to be in Lincoln honoring the Rhode Islanders who gave everything for our country. Thankful to stand with families, veterans, and neighbors as we remember their service and sacrifice.
Thank you to the organizers and everyone who came out to keep this tradition strong!
Honored to have the support of Johnston Town Council VP Lauren Garzone in our campaign for LG.
Lauren has spent years fighting for families and working to improve local government. I’ve seen firsthand her commitment to delivering results through our work together at PVD Water.
Maternal healthcare is foundational, not optional.
This $1.6M for Newport’s Birthing Center ensures long‑term stability, protects patient safety, and keeps basic healthcare accessible for families and our workforce. I strongly support this investment.
These Inspector General proposals show the difference between a statesman, Speaker Chris Blazejewski (@CBlazejewski), who cares about true accountability, and a showman, the Republican candidate for LG, who is trying to create a taxpayer-funded clickbait machine to sow outrage.
R.I. House Speaker Chris Blazejewski announced Thursday he will introduce a bill to establish an independent inspector general in Rhode Island, throwing the weight of his office behind a long-held goal of reformers. Story by @tednesi: https://t.co/lKEeOJvtYc
This campaign is about bringing people together around real solutions and building a Rhode Island where every community has the opportunity to thrive. I’m grateful for Pawtucket’s confidence and excited to keep building momentum together.
Thank you to the Pawtucket Democratic City Committee for endorsing my campaign for Lieutenant Governor and for believing in a vision focused on lowering costs, growing our economy, and making government work better for everyday Rhode Islanders.
Proud of what we’ve built in our first 30 days - more than $120K raised in Q1, early endorsements, and a talented team in place. Grateful for the support from communities across Rhode Island as we continue this work.
Rhode Islanders are ready for a new generation of leadership.
R.I. lieutenant governor candidate @XayForRI reports raising $120,000 in first quarter of 2026 and hiring of @JordanADay as campaign manager and Kristin Murphy as finance director.
While Brown Health's update last week was a meaningful step, we need to continue showing them what happens when Rhode Islanders stand together, driving real progress to protect access to high‑quality primary care across our state.
The energy at Save the Newport Hospital Birthing Center Lobby Day was incredible. Following our rally, our community showed up at both the House and Senate Committees on Health & Human Services in support of legislation that would protect birthing centers like the one in Newport.
TY to the parents, nurses, doctors, and experts who came out tonight to share their first hand experiences. They made it clear that this closure would mean women delivering in ambulances, Ubers, and emergency rooms. These are not hypotheticals; they are predictable outcomes.
After interviewing candidates for Lieutenant Governor, the Johnston Democratic Town Committee unanimously endorsed Xay Khamsyvoravong, citing his commitment to strengthening RI’s economy, supporting working families & partnering with local leaders to deliver results. @XayForRI
@HeyJohnstonRI@IanDonnis@AGNeronha Hello! I would be happy to share more about my work in Newport, and both my private & public sector careers that have spanned more than 20 years in a variety of roles, including Chair of PVD Water, the state’s workforce board, and gov finance. You can read more on my website too.
