There are cameras that monitor the Reflecting Pool 24/7.

Step 2: Give your criminal neighbor who runs "Greenwater Services" a $20 million no-bid contract to paint the pool.
Step 3: Fill the pool with water from the Potomac River, the phosphates from which cause algae blooms.
Step 4: Freshly sealed pool and extreme heat result in a super scum event
Step 5: Direct National Park Service to dump hydrogen peroxide into the pool which causes the paint to peel.
Step 5: Deploy US National Guard to stop people from taking photos of the swamp as a perfect metaphor for the administration.
Step 6: Blame someone else.

@ProjectLincoln I understand & agree, but Democrats are not doing what they can locally nor statewide. In Illinois, they should spend a day in a State agency's office and see how staff operates. If the phones are answered, they merely refer callers to another state agency. Citizens get no help.

My rent went up $300 a month.

I told people I couldn’t afford it. They said just move.

So I looked up what moving actually costs.

First month’s rent. Security deposit. Application fee. Credit check fee. Moving truck. Utility deposits. Time off work to do all of it.

That’s $4,000 minimum just to escape a rent increase.

The solution to not having money is apparently having money.

Poverty isn’t a mindset problem.

It’s a locked door that charges you to find the key.
