Steam has become Capcom’s biggest source of revenue.

According to the company’s latest financial report, revenue from Steam increased by 61.1% over the past year and made up 31.1% of Capcom’s total revenue.

Steam also generated more revenue for Capcom than PlayStation, whose share fell below 10% of total revenue.

The company has previously said it wants PC to become its main platform and aims for PC sales to account for around 80% of its game sales in the future.

Epic Games is hiring a Senior Game Security Engineer to “champion Linux anti-cheat capabilities,” a move that has made some people think Fortnite could eventually come to Linux.

The role requires deep knowledge of both Windows and Linux internals, along with experience in low-level security and anti-cheat systems. The listing doesn’t mention Fortnite.

Easy Anti-Cheat already supports Linux and Proton, but those features need to be enabled and maintained for each game.

The job posting doesn’t guarantee Fortnite on Linux, especially since Tim hates Linux even more than Gabe Newell.
