@kyl64126@George_Zhu@BenjaminNorton Because streets and parking spaces built 20 years ago were not designed to accommodate these many cars. Car ownership exploded in the last 2 decades.
@dragonbabezee@WSJ What are you talking about? Minorities were long before allowed to have 3 children, more than the 1 child or 2 children limit for Han Chinese
๐จ WARNING: VIOLENCE/BLOOD ๐จ
A person violently beats up and punches an Asian male in the head repeatedly in a Manhattan Bound (J) train at Kosciuszko Street Station, chokes him afterwards until he is unconscious. Be on the lookout for this person!
My mom travels on Jan 6th from RDU and arrives at SFO at 11:51AM at earliest. I propose escalation to UA's scheduling team to move the departure time to PM. This benefits all passengers from east coast.

@united The schedule change of UA flight 857 significantly disturbed passengers (esp. from east coast) and put them at risk of COVID exposure due to overnight stay at airport.

3. Higher risk of COVID exposure also leads to higher chance of UA 857 triggering circuit-breaker when arriving in China, due to passengers potentially tested positive. Flight suspension would be disasters to both UA and passengers.

@StefanPichowski @QuickTake @business What are you talking about? Show me the source where the scientific community says China has 20% herd immunity. If you are talking about Wuhan, that's 10M people out of 1.4B.
@icancan17 @QuickTake @TomMackenzieTV@business Covid is well controlled in China now. I know it's hard to believe. But there's no new cases for a very long time there, only imported cases from abroaf
@sc_1820@lucyall2@washingtonpost China learned H2H in mid-Jan and shared it with WHO, then locked down Wuhan within a week by 1/23. It's reported worldwide. Trump knows this. He just chose to downplay it.
@IdRatherQuilt1 @marklevinshow It's "no evidence of spread between human", not meaning it isn't. Science needs proof when you make the claim. Its a new strain
@OnlyHearSeeHate @AngrierWHStaff No in fact the entire province of Hubei was locked down soon afterwards. Not only that, the rest of China went basically "stay-at-home" status since the eve of Spring Festival. That stopped the widespread of the virus quite effectively
@OnlyHearSeeHate @AngrierWHStaff China locked down Wuhan entirely when the cases were only less than 600. Meanwhile in America...
Why would you assume China would have proportional cases anyway?
@SKAYPILLAI@AdityaRajKaul Where are your facts? Beijing and Shanghai also had hundreds of cases. Not thousands, because local governments responded quickly
