Neurosurgeon from Jiangsu Province Hospital(The first Affiliated Hospital with Nanjing Medical University). Specializes in Brain tumors and vascular diseases

Chinese Teachers’ Day! 💐
Grateful to receive these flowers from two of my Master’s students—one recently graduated and the other still on the journey. They chose me as their supervisor, but over time, we’ve become not only teacher and students, but also friends.
This is the first case I've encountered in which a patient presented with preoperative facial palsy despite the tumor being confined to the deep internal auditory canal. After gross total resection, facial nerve function has been gradually improving.
Recently completed an endoscopic endonasal resection of a craniopharyngioma. The EEA offers exceptional visualization of critical neurovascular structures, making it an excellent approach for selected cases. But it requires specialized instruments .
Just finished a low grade thalamic glioma resection using a supracerebellar endoscopic approach, based on the knowledge learning from the skull base course at Mayo Clinic. Grateful to my mentor's @GLanzinoNSGY recommendation and to @PerisCelda 's outstanding teaching.
Gross total resection of a gaint acoustic neuroma last week with anatomical preservation of the facial nerve and a postoperative HB grade III outcome. My Mayo Clinic experience continues to remind me that patience and meticulous attention matter in every surgery.@GLanzinoNSGY
