Opinion: The timing of the Somaliland president’s visit to Israel shows his vision and conviction. This Greece-Israel-UAE-India-Somaliland axis is no longer a loose diplomatic talking shop.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met today with the President of the Republic of Somaliland, His Excellency Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi, at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the leaders signed a Joint Declaration on strengthening the cooperation between the two states, and delivered statements.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to President of Somaliland, H.E. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi: "We are proud, and I am proud that my government is the first government on the planet to recognize Somaliland. We are united by the same belief that freedom, democracy and opportunity are stronger than extremism, terrorism and chaos."
#SomalilandToday Exclusive.
The Republic of #Somaliland embassy which will be inaugurated next week will be in the Arnona / Talpiot neighbourhood of Jerusalem.
This southern Jerusalem district has become a major focal point for international diplomacy. It is home to the U.S. Embassy, which moved there from Tel Aviv and was selected due to available commercial real estate and existing security infrastructure.
U.S. Senator Ted Cruz is calling for formal U.S. recognition of Somaliland, describing it as a key counterterrorism partner and strategic ally in the Horn of Africa. Since restoring its sovereignty in 1991, Somaliland has maintained its own government, security institutions, and democratic system while remaining one of the region’s most stable territories. I agree. The United States should strengthen ties with Somaliland and recognize its longstanding record of stability and self-governance and benefit from its strategic importance along the Gulf of Aden.

@AnalystSomalia@RAbdiAnalyst If it’s just a WhatsApp call, why are you angry, confused and fuming at mouth since 26 December?
Your obsession says otherwise 😊
Dismemberment of Somalia?
I don’t support that as well. Somalia should always be one.
Somaliland had never been part in Somalia. Not even in 1960s.
Vice President JD Vance announces international plan for critical minerals:
“Together, we want members to form a trading bloc among allies and partners. One that guarantees American access to American industrial might while also expanding production across the entire zone.” 🇺🇸
🟥 Somaliland, Israel, and the Abraham Accords
Somaliland’s prospective entry into the Abraham Accords should be read as a strategy to institutionalize governance, security capacity, and its reliability as a partner

What a heartwarming news.
The US committee of foreign affairs passed an act named “ Department of State Policy Provisions Act (H.R 5300)”
If this act passes through both houses and the president signs, it will deepen the ties between The Republic of Somaliland and USA.
@ProfGeesinimo Inept people with zero creativity such as you, who seem to not fully understand how the world works is a problem to Somaliland.
I am not going to be deterred to do what’s good for my country, ever if that offends some people who seem to be honest but lucking vision.
The resumption of talks between Somaliland and Somalia is a welcome news.
I hope this time we break the decades old deadlock over the issue of independence and unity.
I hope the leaders of Somalia come to their senses and accept the democratic wishes of the people of Somaliland.
@Huhu60408051 Anything that can lead SL become full member of United Nations is welcome in my book.
Negotiating with the leaders of Somalia is one of them.
We need a strategy and a sensible political program to convince the leaders of Somalia change their mind.
