Finally got to translate this cut of The Grandmaster thanks to @clansofintrigue ChatGPT API translator tool (of course a real person is better). After this Ip Man scene in the Chinese cut it goes to the Razor having a conversation about leaving the party and then it follows up with the fight followed by Ip Man restaurant scene but no mention of the Razor.

In The Western Cut it goes into Ip Man having a conversation in a restaurant were they tell him about the Razor(with Barbershop flashbacks) and we don't see the full fight.

Here it goes into Gong Er ordering some food while the Razor is present, and it follows up with the Razor having the conversation about leaving the party and then the fight which is also present in the Chinese cut.

This segment of a fight scene from WKW's The Grandmaster (2013) is one of my all time fav in recent times. As much a graceful dance as it is a fight, Gong Er ( Zhang Ziyi ) uses the Bagua 64 Stances fighting style against Ma San's ( Zhang Jin ) Xing Yi style.
