We are pleased to introduce Hon. Kwami Edem Senanu as part of the distinguished faculty for SYPALA 2026.

Hon. Senanu is the elected Chairperson of the African Union Advisory Board Against Corruption (AUABC) and a Management and Development Consultant with 30 years of professional experience, including extensive work in consulting and capacity building at both national and international levels.

His professional experience spans good governance, anti-corruption, social accountability, popular participation, public policy, sustainable livelihoods and institutional development. He has previously served as Chair of the African Anti-Corruption Research Network (AACRN), Resource Person and Mentor on Ethical Leadership for YALI, Lead National Expert on Popular Participation to the Government of Ghana, and National Project Coordinator for the UNDP/Africa 2000 Network Sustainable Rural Livelihoods Project.

He has also served on the Management Committees of the University of Ghana Centre for Social Policy Studies and Centre for Migration Studies.

Passionate about good governance and the fight against corruption, Hon. Senanu holds a BSc in Biochemistry and Food Science from the University of Ghana and a Master’s in Development Management from GIMPA.
