"Your country's entire Defense budget is N3.5trn. But your country pays Tompolo & others N11trn to protect your pipelines from oil thieves😀"
- Charles Kay Anyabuike
"Look at Nigeria with 45 million people, yet they don't enjoy our standard of living despite their vast natural resources...." -Former Prime Minister of Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew, around 1965.
Singapore observed the madness in Nigeria as an example of how not to be a country. 😭
Lmao! His car uses CNG? Besides What is the turnover time people waste at CNG queues everyday? Like able bodied men and women waste productive man hours on a queue. Yet he talks about mandatory menene
The Chairman of the Presidential Initiative on Compressed Natural Gas and Electric Vehicles (PI-CNG&EV), Ismael Ahmed, has proposed making the transition from petrol and diesel to CNG mandatory for commercial vehicles.
You plunged the nation into debt with unjustifiable loans. Then created a separate scheme that requires people to take loans, when the same debt you created could have cancelled out their need for nelfund loans. Now every nigerian owes, but Nelfund users owe X2, yet we celebrate😊
Federal university tuition before 2015:
₦20,000 – ₦40,000
After APC came in:
2016–2019 → ₦30k – ₦65k
2020–2022 → ₦45k – ₦90k
Then the real jump:
2023–2024 → ₦100k – ₦250k
2025–2026 → ₦150k – ₦350k+
Same federal universities. Same students. Fees multiplied 5–10X in a decade.
NELFUND is a loan scheme, not a solution to the underlying cost explosion.
Parents are the ones paying the price.

“I have no business with tribalism, I just know that Peter Obi won’t st£al and he also won’t allow other people running the government to st£al. Why won’t Nigeria be Ok ? Why won’t the country move forward? Nigeria will work as long as we don’t have thiev£s as leaders”
- Actor Laide Olabanji
I don’t think people get it. This is spiritual warfare. We need to wake up to how these people are demonising us. Christians please wake up!! God bless you
@TheBallZoneX No surprise here...
Football in Portugal has 2 eras: BC (before Cristiano) and AC (after Cristiano).
We know it.
Puma knows it.
Jorge Jesus and some Portuguese players apparently don't!
This is how to compare. Do not travel abroad and start doing one-off calculations, embarassing yourself on how fuel is cheaper in Nigeria than abroad. Whereas in reality and even the grand scheme of things, fuel and other things are not cheaper.
I bought fuel yesterday in Toronto, Canada, at $1.7999 CAD per litre, and it cost about $98.95 CAD to fill up my tank. This should ideally last me about a week or more.
Now, the minimum wage in Canada is $17.95 CAD per hour, which means someone who works an average of 8 hours a day will earn $143.60 CAD before tax. A day's salary is enough to fuel his or her car for 2–3 weeks. This means that even one of the lowest earners in Canada can afford to own and drive a car daily without the cost of fuel becoming an overwhelming burden. Public education for children is also free and of high quality.
In Nigeria, fuel is about ₦1,300 per litre. It would cost about ₦88,000 to fill up a similar tank. The minimum wage in Nigeria is ₦70,000 per month. This means that an entire month's minimum wage cannot even fill the tank once.
A minimum-wage earner in Nigeria cannot realistically afford to own, fuel, and maintain a car. The same person still has to afford food, rent, children's education, healthcare, electricity, transportation, and other basic necessities. The list goes on.
In fact, even a bank manager in Nigeria earning ₦1 million monthly could still struggle to maintain a decent standard of living after covering these basic expenses.
This is one reason poverty is so widespread in Nigeria. The cost of basic living is simply too high relative to what the average person earns.
You don't just have an income problem in Nigeria. You have an affordability problem.
For millions of Nigerians, simply living a decent life has become too expensive and increasingly impossible.
I am NOT ashamed of the gospel of Jesus! It is the power of God unto salvation. Nothing in this world can EVER make me be ashamed of this Jesus! I crossed the rubicon a long time ago! There’s no turning back. JESUS ALL THE WAY! Halleluyah!
