Honest political question... Do you believe laws that bundle completely separate issues into one make for good, effective, or fair laws?

In full disclosure, I'm voting no but open to hear justification for yes. I think the best laws & conversations stay on topic and clear.

@katiegipson I understand, but hopefully you understand that it's hard to know what to do with generalized statements like those threats tonight. Working in the tech industry it is easy to believe anonymous threats can be used for propaganda.

@katiegipson What I saw tonight was a livestream of people with cat ears disconnect to their phones when the podium wasn't filled within someone wearing cat ears, while others around tuned in to everything that was said. Some people their tonight aren't even part of the community this was for

@SecularAZ @azedschools So I'm not surprised that no one believes the WESD board that this is solely about the institution, because apart from the private institution's commitment to biblical views in higher education, "people" sign this statement of belief and they are the ones now discounted by WESD.

@SecularAZ @azedschools It was said tonight that this was specifically about the institutional bigotry of ACU, but what you confirm here is that the issue is their adherence to biblical beliefs or scriptural teachings. A belief that does not encourage students to harm or assault others in any way.
