#falzham7_3 I think that the references of ghosts throughout the play were meant to scare the audiences who were probably very religious. I think these appearances of ghosts had more weight back during the original time of the play than now where they are common in most media.

I think that the story was better told in this order than in order because then it made it seem like the journalistic like story was more of a reflection and this invited the reader to reflect about it #falzforetold207

#falzforetold207 I think that when the priest was warned of the murder but did nothing it was the author's way of telling the reader that faith/god would not help Santiago and that his life was in his own hands

I thought that the author purposefully made the authority figures like the mayor not do much in the way of stopping the murder so that the reader would place more of the blame on the society #falzforetold207

@sofiasafi11 This feels like a possibility because it was mentioned that people without honor would be ostracized from the rest of society. This makes it a reasonable argument to think that the brothers were forced by society
